EXPLORE STEAM FAIR '26

South Valley Science and Engineering Initiative's (SVSEI's) free, fun, family oriented 2026 EXPLORE STEAM FAIR is less than 2 weeks away! EXPLORE '26 will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Morgan Hill Unified School District's (MHUSD's) Live Oak High School main gym from 11am-2pm. This free, fun, family friendly, science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) event is geared for TK-12th grade - with adults welcome to participate (just please let the kids go first)!

 

What can you expect to do on January 24:

• Robotics -drivable, vibrating, coding, drawing, maze running​

• Keva planks

• Merge EDU cubes

• Hip hop

• 3D printing

• Watershed modeling, vermicomposting, and interactive SW sorting

• Balloon hovercrafts

• Arduino circuitry builds

• Air powered rockets

• Straw rockets

• Whirligigs

• Coding

• Coloring

• Crocheting

• Floating boats challenge and smelling test

• Solar ovens

• Battery circuitry, marshmallow towers, and straw flutes

• Hot Wheels Speedometry

• Interactive computer game

• Density tubes and cellular respiration labs

• UV beads and potting native plants

 While EXPLORE is FREE, we'd appreciate your preregistration at Eventbrite so we can make sure we have enough materials for all our fairgoers. Of course, walk-ins are always welcome.
