South Valley Science and Engineering Initiative's (SVSEI's) free, fun, family oriented 2026 EXPLORE STEAM FAIR is 11 weeks away! EXPLORE '26 will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Morgan Hill Unified School District's (MHUSD's) Live Oak High School from 11am-2pm. Join us for additional activity booths sponsored and staffed by MHUSD schools, their students, and faculty.​​

What can you be doing while you wait? How about entering SVSEI's Explorer Coloring/Art contest? It's open to TK-12th grade students who live or attend school within the MHUSD geographical area. Go to our Explorer Coloring Contest page to download the contest form or pick one up at the Morgan Hill Library. Use your creativity (not computer generated artwork) to decorate the Explorer figure and the background (think STEAM). But don't wait too long! Drop yours off at the library's Account Desk by December 1, 2025. The winner of each of the three age categories will receive an $100 Booksmart gift card.
